Pickup from your hotel is between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM. You start with dune bashing in the Al Khatim desert, a sunset photo stop, a short camel ride and sandboarding. The evening continues at camp with Arabic coffee and dates, a BBQ buffet dinner and the Tanoura dance, belly dance and fire shows. When the other guests leave, the camp is yours — you sleep in a sheltered tent and wake up for sunrise and breakfast before the mid-morning drop-off.

What the Camp and Food Are Like

The camp is built in Bedouin style, with carpets, cushions and low seating around the stage. Dinner is a buffet BBQ with grilled meats, salads, breads and vegetarian options, plus free-flowing soft drinks and water.
