The Evening Desert Safari + ATV (AED 249) adds a 30-minute quad ride to dune bashing, camel riding, BBQ dinner and shows. The Morning Desert Safari + ATV (AED 350) does the same in cooler hours, which matters in summer when afternoons reach 45°C.
What Happens on the Day
On a combo package, pickup is between 3 and 4 PM for evening trips. At the desert, your instructor runs a safety briefing and a short practice loop, then leads the group onto the dunes. After your ride, you join the rest of the safari — dune bashing in a 4x4 Land Cruiser, sandboarding, henna, and dinner with the Tanoura and belly dance shows. Drop-off is around 9 to 9:30 PM.
Do I Need Experience?
No. Every rider gets an instructor-led safety briefing and a short supervised practice run before heading onto the open dunes. Most first-time riders feel confident within a few minutes.
Standalone Session or Combined With a Safari?
